Flipkart as promised after closing the Indian operations of ebay.in have launched the new portal 2GUD.com. More importantly,this will be an exclusive place for selling refurbished products in India. More importantly 2GUD concentrates only on refurbished electronic items for now.

Currently the store is selling mobile phones, laptops, smart watches, tablets and streaming devices. In future , Walmart – owned flipkart will launch speakers, hair dryers, powerbanks, hair straightener, TV sets and other 400 product categories.
According to the new e-commerce portal, 2GUD sells only unused and returned products or used products which are restored to full functionality by professionals. Each product is certified and graded by experts at F1 Info solutions and services. All products are certified to be fully functional. Besides 2GUD from flipkart tries to build the trust to make refurbished products a big market for it.
Flipkart CEO on launch event said that they are removing the trust deficit that exists in the refurbished products. 2)Refurbished Superb: Minimally used with minimal scratches
3)Refurbished very good: Moderately used with minimal scratches
4)Refurbished good: Extensively used with visible scratches.
5) Refurbished okay: Heavily used with significant scratches.
Flipkart says all products listed on the website goes through a rigorous 47-step quality check. Besides that 2GUD checks everything from screens to batteries for a mobile phone. The faulty parts are replaced and the phone is placed to full functional without compromises.
Warranty At 2GUd:
2GUD by Flipkart is offering 3 to 12 months warranty across product categories. Therefore we have to wait and watch how the new platform will be a good alternative for ebay.
Flipkart bought ebay India last year from US e-commerce giant Ebay. Ebay.in stopped accepting orders from Aug 14th stating a new platform will be started soon.
