Oppo find X already have the 3D facial recognition feature which is similar to iPhone X. Oppo names this feature as  O-Face 3D facial recognition technology. Using the same technology Oppo has created O-Moji.

AR Emoji:

Samsung tried to extend this feature in it’s S9 series. Users can create a 3D cartoon emoji of themselves and Samsung calls this as AR Emoji. But this isn’t a big success in Samsung as many users felt that the Emoji doesn’t look like them.

Later apple in it’s iOS 12 update added the same feature as Memoji. Here user can create an memoji of themselves and use that memoji in Face time too.

Whether Oppo find X will have the similar feature as well? The teaser doesn’t show that. Let’s wait and see.

Oppo Find X:

As we’ve seen here, Oppo enters the flagship market in style. Vivo recently launched Vivo Nex series with real beezel less dsiplay. Unlike Vivo Nex in Find X, all the three cameras are placed in a pop-up slider and whenever user wants to take selfie, camera will pop-up and close automatically.

Oppo has mode pop-up as pop-up slider. The device has all the three cameras in the slider and the slider will pop up whenever users needs.

The company uses a pop-up motor that hides all three cameras( Front and dual rear cameras)  whenever they are not in use.

Oppo has got some success in midrange market especially in offline market. This is Opp’s first flagship device and we may call this as Oppo’s most ambitious device yet.

Opps claims that the device will take just 0.5 sec to pop up the cameras. But Unlike Vivo Nex, Oppo Find X doesn’t come with in-display finger print scanner.  Actually, Find X doesn’t even has a finger print scanner and it relies iPhone X like 3D facial recognition alone. This is hidden on the Pop-up slider and when you swipe the screen the slider pops up, authenticate your face and unlocks the device within 1 sec.

Below is the GIF image how the slider looks in front and rear.

Specifications:

The device comes with a large 6.4 inch OLED full hd+ display and has a great 92.25% body to screen ratio. As the device uses pop up mechanism, there is no need of notch in Find X.

Oppo Find X sports with dual 16 MP+ 20MP rear camera and 25-MP front facing camera. Look wise the find X looks similar to Samsung S9 with the curved edges.

The device is powered with the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor and has 8 GB of RAM. The device also offers huge 256 GB storage.

Find X has a 3730 mAh battery which is pretty decent and better compared to other flagship devices. The phone also supports VOCC fast charging which is similar to Oneplus’ dash charging.

Device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based Color OS which provides a new look that combines few Samsung s9 and iPhone X’s features.
