GBoard is google keyboard which i widely used by android users. One major advantage of Gboard is when you switch to new mobile, you do not want to configure the complete keyboard settings again. Just download Gboard keyboard from your registered google account does the work. The non dictionary words and your shortcuts everything will be saved in the server. You do not want to save them again in your new device.
Now Gborad introduces GIF features. Just like emoji’s you can send a GIF image in your conversation. This is available only in Beta version. We can expect this feature in stable version any time sooner. Unlike Emoji’s you can create your own GIF image and send it your friends. Android users are using a third party applications to create a GIF from their photos.
If you do not want to wait till google adds this in their stable version, you can enroll yourself as a beta tester and download the beta version of GBoard. To do so, Just click on this link and click on the button “Become a Tester”. Now download the app on Google Play.
Congrats, you are a beta tester now and you’ll receive the latest updates first before everyone :).
Now change your default keyboard to Gboard in they language and input settings.
As you see the screenshot, on clicking GIF option in the Gboard, we’ll see “Make a GIF” with big + symbol. Click on it and give the necessary permissions. It’ll open Camera by default. Click on capture and it’ll capture the motion for 3 Sec. Then you’ll see the preview, you can save it to gallery and forward to other friends or share it to FB as well. You can several effects while capturing the motion which are built-in and you can select while creating GIF.
So what you are waiting for, remove your third party apps and install GBoard :)
