Xiaomi has sent an invite for it’s upcoming event on 25th June. The event invitation hinted on a new smartphone. Redmi 6 pro specs. Here we’ve discoussed about what it could be and the hinted specs. Now Xiaomi listed the device in it’s official site Mi.Com ahead of the launch event today.
Redmi 6 pro:

The Redmi 6 Pro comes with 5.84-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with amazong 432 ppi pixel density. The device also has an Apple iPhone X-style notch
Redmi 6 is powered with Octacore Snapdragon 625 processor combined with Adreno 506 GPU.
The device has 12MP+5MP dual camera setup with AI Portrait mode and automatic HDR. Also a 5 MP front camera for selfies.
Redmi 6 pro has AI assissted face recognition and it does have a rear mounted finger print scanner.
Battery and OS:
The device comes with a huge 4000 mAh non removable battery and it comes in Black, Rose Gold, Red, Blue, and Gold colour options.
Unfortunately Redmi 6 pro runs on MIUI 9 and not MIUI 10. But we may expect MIUI 10 update for redmi 6 pro earlier than other models.
RAM, Memory and Price:
Redmi 6 pro comes in 3 variants. 3GB RAM with 32GB storage Varaint will retail for 999 Yuan (approx Rs. 10,422), whereas the 4GB RAM variant with same 32GB memory has the price tag of 1109 Yuan (approx. Rs. 11,569). The high end 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs 1299 Yuan (Rs. 13,551). The device is already available to purchase in China.
In India, all these three variants may be priced at Rs. 9999 , Rs. 10,999 and Rs.12,999 respectively.
Redmi 6 pro also has a dedicated memory card slot along with the two sim card slots.
Mi pad 4:
Now most of the manufacturers are not interested in Android tablets. This may be due to the trending bigger screen mobiles and users aren’t really interested in tablets. But Xiaomi saw success on it’s Mi pad series and now launched Mi pad 4. Let’s see the specs sheet.
Mi pad comes with 8-inch Full HD 16:10 display and full metal body. Xiaomi claims that the device will be very comfortable in one hand usage.
The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor.
The tablet has both LTE/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi-only variants. The Wi-Fi variant has only one variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Whereas the 4GB RAM variant suppotts both LTE and Wi-Fi and it has 64GB internal memory. Mi pad 4 also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based MiUi 9 out of the box.
Mi Pad 4 sports a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The tablet does not has finger print sensor but the tablet has AI assited face recognition just like we saw in Redmi 6 pro.
The tablet has a massive 6000mAh battery like it’s predessor and has Black and Gold colour options.
Mi pad 4 3GB RAM variant is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 11,465) and the 4GB RAM + 64GB memory Wi-Fi model costs 1399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 14,595). 4GB RAM and 64GB storage LTE variant will retail at 1499 Yuan ( approx.Rs. 15,638).
Mi pad 3 wasn’t released in many countries including India. With the Xiaomi’s event scheduled tomorrow in China, we may get the official information on the availability in markets outside China.
