Google to launch Cheaper PIXEL phone. What we know so far

After the success of PIXEL 1 and 2, there are no doubts that PIXEL 3 works would have already begun. If yow wants to own a pixel and don’t want to invest high, then you have a good news from Google. We’ve got an update from Economic Times which states that google is working on cheaper affordable pixel phone .

The company is planning to launch its mid range PIXEL smartphones in late July. Though the exact specifications is yet to be released, company is highly interested in countries like India,which is a consumer market. Google feels that so much growth is possible in these countries. Looks like, company already organised trade meeting and shared it’s plans about the expansion.

Let’s see what one of the retailers shared about the Google’s plan.

“Google is excited about the expansion of the consumer products business in India with the advent of cheap 4G internet led by Reliance Jio and other operators which it says will help to realize maximum potential of these products.”

Affordable PIXEL:

HTC is the manufacturer of PIXEL 1 and 2, but this time google doesn’t want to go with the third party  manufacturers. The IT Giant decided to build it’s own device.

Though Pixel 2 is a hit, it is not available in many countries. Google planned to expand its business by releasing pixel 2 in addition countries as well along with pixel book. This isn’t launched in India too.

As per the sources, Google wants to deliver a smartphone which is affordable as well as capable. Along with the affordable Pixel, the company may launch it’s pixel book and smart speaker.

Google may announce it’s mid range smartphone at late July, it’s next flagship PIXEL 3 may get official after the Apple’s event.

Since many of the analysts and customers have reviewed PIXEL 2 as overpriced, the company is very keen in it’s cheaper phones.

So now after iPhone’s SE2, Google is also targeting the mid range market. Whether 2 big giants Apple and Google beat Xiaomi’s Redmi series in India with their cheaper devices. What is your view on this?  Please let us know in your comments.
